Beauty and Beast? The Brutality of Being Beautiful and Black while Woman

  1. When searching beauty+white+woman in the google image search I saw that these woman are expressed almost as innocent in their appeal. When looking at beauty+black+woman the images are rather provocative and sexually suggestive.

    1. The difference is pretty obvious. How do you think that these differences in images are related to cultural scripts or stereotypes associated with femininity and gender?
